Tokaj Nobilis Tokaji Furmint Barakonyi, 2022

Furmint is a variety native to the Tokaj wine region. It is a single-vineyard wine made from organically farmed grapes grown in stony, volcanic soil. Yields are kept low. The 2022 vintage in Tokaj was dry and warm, producing rich, concentrated wines. This wine was fermented and matured in barrels for six months. The aroma reveals notes of ripe tropical fruits, while the vibrant palate offers hints of pears and apples. The finish is long and mineral-driven. It can be aged in the bottle for a further 5–6 years. We recommend serving it with meat and fish.
