Pajzos Tokaji Hárslevelű Selection Pajzos, 2019

This dry white wine is made from 100% Hárslevelű, a native Hungarian grape known for its delicate aromas and fine structure. Fermented and aged in Zemplén oak barrels, it expresses the full potential of the variety with remarkable minerality and complexity. Its elegance, depth, and long finish make it a true representation of the Tokaj region’s volcanic terroir.

On the nose, the typical, lovely Hárslevelű notes are combined with hints of barrel ageing: white flowers, honey, banana and melon. On the palate there are yellow tropical fruits, quince compote and apple puree. The texture is supple, almost creamy, with an interesting roundness. Excellent acids, barrel-aged aromas, a well-rounded wine with a long finish.
