Vesztergombi Kadarka, 2022

Szekszárd’s spice bomb from a 118-year-old and a 15-year-old plantation, at the time of harvest about one in ten berries was already shriveled. A textbook example of the variety. Intense aromas of red berries both on the nose and on the palate: strawberry, red cherry, redcurrant, cranberry – the fruitiness is accompanied by rich green herbs – dried sage, thyme, basil and a hint of oregano. Intense acid backbone, long, airy sip with light but concentrated fruit. Long finish.
