Pátzay Pinot Noir Rosé has not only been a favourite with the public in recent years, it has also been a success. It was the best Hungarian rosé two years in a row, and last year it won gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy international competition. It promises to be a worthy successor this year. Its appearance is very elegant, with an onion skin colour. The bouquet is intense and complex, with notes of raspberry, fresh redcurrant and a hint of citrus, followed by white flowers and peach. The palate is very silky, the red berries, raspberries and white-fleshed peaches play with each other, each moment reinforcing the other. The acidity is lively and playful, typical of the vintage. In the aftertaste, this delicate fresh fruitiness lingers particularly long until the next sip.
