Nászút helyett means Instead of Honeymoon.

To the “utter delight of my family“, I used the money set aside for our honeymoon to buy this vineyard. I had to, it was love at first sight. Since then, this small estate has become a symbol of togetherness, challenge and ever-renewing happiness.

It is clear that Cabernet Franc has found its home in Villány and is the key to its future. Nothing proves my confidence in the variety better than the fact that I planted only Cabernet Franc grapes long before the Villányi Franc Wine Region brand was born in 2009, and that I have been searching for the different faces of Franc ever since. According to the Villány Appellation Control System, Villányi Franc is a carefully selected 100% Cabernet Franc – the flagship brand of the wine region.
